Awesome things about this photo:
1) Guy in front, who looks like he’s hitting the climax of a show tune.
2) Girl behind him, who’s improved her own position by arm-blocking her friend’s face.
3) The face of the guy with the scarf.
4) Girl in red deciding to go with the “swallowed-a-bug” face.
5) The girl in the back, with the glasses, who after the photo was finished, kept trying to hold my hand.
6) Hairstyles being rocked on far left of photo.

7) It’s a large gathering of awesome people.

Believe it or not, this heart-shaped balloon is actually a solid wooden sculpture. Entitled I Love You, this wonderfully deceptive sculpture was created by Seattle-based artist Dan Webb using fir, ribbon, and steel.
Those careful curves and crinkles are so convincing, no matter how long we stare at it, it’s hard to accept that this balloon isn’t really a fragile, floating, inflatable object. Were we actually standing before it, the temptation to poke it would be overwhelming.

Something That Should Be Said To Everyone

queer-c33:

You are beautiful and deserving of love. Even when you feel like the most wretched person on Earth, please realize that that is just a feeling and not a fact. Even when you act out your pain in ways inconsistant with your ideals for yourself, you are still at your very core a good person. Yes, you ought to stop acting out and you should get a handle on your problematic behavior and yet even as you do I hope you never lose sight of your basic and innate goodness.

I have new found love for this guy...

“Nations, like stars, are entitled to eclipse. All is well, provided the light returns and the eclipse does not become endless night. Dawn and resurrection are synonymous. The reappearance of the light is the same as the survival of the soul.”
